Mifflin County XC results from Senior Day #WeAreOneTeam

Mifflin County Boys Defeat Juniata (17-49), Newport (15-50), and Belleville (15-36)

“We had an awesome evening tuning-up and honoring our seniors at home. The boys looked phenomenal, and I'm really excited to see what fresh legs do for them next Saturday. The goal was to get a solid sustained effort 10 days out from districts, and we accomplished that and more. I'm happy to see them healthy and confident going into our post-season. But it was all about our seniors tonight, and I could go on and on about Wyatt Kauffman, Hoyt Rodenbaugh, Koy Aurand, Aidan Scavetti, Cam Treaster, and Logan Breneman. I've had the pleasure of working with most of these young men for the last 3 plus years, and it is hard thinking about a program without them. They are incredible leaders, fierce competitors, and the teammates I can trust fully when I put them on the line. They have made our community proud, and regardless of results next weekend they have etched their names into Mifflin County distance running history."

This afternoon, the Huskies welcomed Juniata, Newport, BCS, and St. Joe’s to the IVEC cross country course. The Lady Huskies dominated the competition, defeating all four teams.
“Our race today proves that the work these girls have put in all season, beginning in June, has gotten them exactly where they need to be. Our front pack was given an assignment and had to adjust partway through the race. They made those adjustments with ease and made a statement!
Elissa Bell led the way with an individual victory, followed by Espie Bargas in third, Libby Cook in fourth, and Daliyah Bargas in fifth. Lizzy Massie achieved a personal best, a goal she has been working hard toward all season. Eden Smith, Carys Morgan, Casey Bulick, and Aubrey Molinaro each took minutes off their season-best times.
Today was a great indicator that we are right where we want to be heading into districts.”
The lady Huskies end their season 3-3 in the Mid Penn conference, and 7-3 overall.

Selinsgrove 3 - Mifflin County Boys Soccer 0

At Selinsgrove 10/21/2026

3-0 Loss

Selinsgrove came out fast and put heavy pressure on us early. We did tend to try to do too much with the ball when limited touches would’ve been best. Their first goal came from Toskey working hard and stealing the ball and shooting early almost ten minutes into the match. Then, with 24:41 left they hit a header off a corner, back across the goal to an unmarked player that finished it for 2-0 at half. We encourage our boys to put some balls in behind them and it put some more pressure on them throughout the second half but we couldn’t manufacture getting a goal back. They got one late with 6:46 left when Kratzer snuck in behind are stretched team that pushed forward.

SHOTS 11-3 Selinsgrove

SAVES 8-3 MC (Quinn)

CORNERS 5-2 Selinsgrove

JV SCORE 1-0 Selinsgrove
